Differences between American and British English.
The most noticeable difference between the two accents for the vocabulary. And there are many everyday words that are different. Example the British call the hood of the car bonnet, while the American call it hood.
The Americans go on vacation, but the British go on holidays.
Americans live in apartments, while the British live in flats.
A grammar difference between Amercian and British English relates to auxiliary verbs. Example the British say I shall go home now. But the Americans say I will go home now.
American speech has influent British via culture, and therefore are there some prepositional differences
Example: The American say: "what are you doing on Christmas?" While the British say: "What are you doing at Christmas?".
