Paul Walker 

Paul Walker has to sisters and to brothers was born 12. September 1973, in a city called Glendale which is near the big city of Los Angeles, in California. And he died 30. November 2013. Paul was sitting with a near friend in a Porche Carrera GT. And the driver loses the control of the car, and crashes in a tree. The car has then caught fire. The driver and Paul has died in the accident in Santa Clarita (North of Los Angeles)  

He was a American actor and model. He played in the movie Into the Blue, and the also played in the Fast & Furious films. And many other movies like: The Fast and the Furious, 2Fast2Furious, Fast Five and the last movie Fast & Furious 7. In 2001 got walker his own big breakthrough when he played with the other character Vin Diesel in the popular movie The Fast and the Furious. The film established Walker as a film star and in 2003 they came with a sequel 2 Fast 2 Furious. 

Walker lived until his death in Santa Barbara with his to dogs. Paul and Rebecca Soteros had a daughter together, which lived with her mother in Hawaii in 13 years. Before she moved to California to live together with Paul in 2011. Paul was eager surfer and had purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.   

  

  

Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela  

Nelson Mandela was a journalist, politician and South-African president from 1994 to 1999. And one of the most famous leaders of the liberation movement African National Congress (ANC). From the 1940s was he prisoned for 27 years, for his resistance against apartheid. 

In 1988 he was taken to the hospital with diagnosed with tuberculosis. And after more than three months in hospital he was transported to Victor Verster Prison, to a house where he was going to spend his last 14 months imprisonment. And where realised from the gates the 11 February 1990. 

After he has been released from prison in the 1990s, he won the country first free election in 1994, and he got the first president in the democratic South Africa.  

In 1993 he got Nobel Peace Prize, for his work with democratictizaion of South Africa. And in 1998 on his 80th birthday he married his 3rd wife Graca Machel. 

He stepped down as a president I 1994 after one term as a president. Despite terrible provocation, he never answered racism with racism. He later died in his home in Johannesburg in 2013. 

Kenya

Kenya is a country beside the equator in eastern Africa. The country borders to Tanzania in the South, Ethiopia in the North, Uganda in the West and the Indian Ocean in the South East. The capital in Kenya in Nairobi. 

Kenya has a rich wildlife and an amazing nature, which is something that has been a famous tourist country, for seeing lots of different wildlife and incredible nature.  

Kenya is importing lots of Oil, iron, and machines. And they are exporting: coffee, fruit, tea, and cement. The most important trading countries are the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Japan, and Uganda. 

There are living almost 46 million people in Kenya. 

Differences

Differences between American and British English. 

The most noticeable difference between the two accents for the vocabulary. And there are many everyday words that are different. Example the British call the hood of the car bonnet, while the American call it hood.  

The Americans go on vacation, but the British go on holidays. 

Americans live in apartments, while the British live in flats. 

A grammar difference between Amercian and British English relates to auxiliary verbs. Example the British say I shall go home now. But the Americans say I will go home now.   

American speech has influent British via culture, and therefore are there some prepositional differences  

Example: The American say: "what are you doing on Christmas?" While the British say: "What are you doing at Christmas?".
